RESOLUTION N0.7147 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />Resolution Authorizing Certification of the Proposed General Fund Budget and <br />Property Tax Levy for Fiscal Year 2008 <br />WHEREAS, current state statute requires cities to certify a proposed budget and tax <br />levy to the county auditor; and, <br />WHEREAS, guidelines established by the Commissioner of Revenue require <br />certification to occur on or before September 15, 2007; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Revenue has certified the amount of Local <br />Government Aid payable in 2008. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View that the proposed budget far the General Fund for fiscal year 2008 is $5,636,126. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proposed 2008 base property tax levy is <br />$3,415,243 and the proposed 2008 special levies are $423,091 for a total net property tax <br />levy of $3,838,334. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director shall certify these amounts <br />to the Ramsey County Auditor. <br />Adopted this 10th Day of September 2007. <br />Rob Marty, Mayor <br />(ATTEST) <br />'~~~ l~~ <br />urt Ulrich <br />City Administrator <br />(SEAL) <br />
