RESOLUTION N0.7148 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />Resolution Establishing Public Hearing Dates for the Proposed General Fund <br />Budget and Property Tax Levy for Fiscal Year 2008 <br />WHEREAS, the City is not required to hold a truth in taxation hearing under the truth <br />in taxation laws, as part of the budget process to adopt its final General Fund Budget and <br />Property Tax Levy for fiscal year 2008; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council would like to provide an opportunity for public comment <br />at a public hearing on the 2008 General Fund Budget and Property Tax Levy; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council must select dates for an initial public hearing and a <br />continuation public hearing; and <br />WHEREAS, certification of the public hearing dates to the Ramsey County Auditor <br />must occur on or before September 15, 2007. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View that the initial Truth in Taxation public hearing will be held on Monday, December 3, <br />2007 at 6:00 p.m. at the Mounds View City Hall. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the continuation Truth in Taxation public hearing, <br />if needed, will be held as part of the regular City Council meeting on Monday, December <br />10, 2007 at 7:05 p.m. at the Mounds View City Hall. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the adoption of the final General Fund Budget <br />and Property Tax Levy for fiscal year 2008 may occur as part of the regular City Council <br />meeting on Monday, December 10, 2007 at 7:05 p.m. at the Mounds View City Hall. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director shall certify these dates to <br />the Ramsey County Auditor. <br />Adopted this 10'h Day of September 2007. <br />Rob Marty, Mayor <br />(ATTEST) <br />~~~/~ <br />Kurt Ulrich <br />City Administrator <br />(SEAL) <br />
