RESOLUTION NO. 7154 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />A Resolution Approving Additional Compensation for <br />Assistant to the City Administrator <br />WHEREAS, City Administrator Kurt Ulrich has resigned effective September 13, <br />2007; and <br />WHEREAS, according to the policy adopted in Resolution 5626, an employee <br />may serve in an interim capacity to meet the needs of the vacant position with the <br />approval of the City Administrator and the City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, Resolution 5626 establishes that additional compensation may be <br />authorized for employees serving in an interim capacity taking on higher classification <br />duties; and, <br />WHEREAS, there was a consensus at the September 4, 2007, Work Session <br />that the Assistant to the City Administrator be compensated at 10% above her current <br />rate of pay for these additional, higher classification administrative duties; and <br />WHEREAS, additional, higher classification responsibilities assigned to Desaree <br />Crane will include supervision of the Receptionist and Cable TV Coordinator. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Mounds View City Council <br />does hereby authorize additional compensation to the Assistant to the City <br />Administrator Desaree Crane at a rate of ten percent (10%) above her rate of pay <br />effective September 14, 2007. <br />Adopted thi 0th day of September, 2007. <br />~fi <br />~/ <br />Rob IVrarty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: ,. <br />Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br />(seal) <br />
