RESOLUTION NO. 9028 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING THE HIRING OF MICHAEL HANSON <br />TO THE POSITION OF POLICE OFFICER <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the establishment of an eligibility list <br />for the position of Police Officer for current vacancies in the Police Department, and the <br />City of Mounds View has approved the procedures for establishing an eligibility register <br />to fill these vacancies, and; <br />WHEREAS, the approved hiring procedures consist of training and experience <br />scoring, oral interviews, physical agility testing, a thorough background investigation, <br />physical examination and a psychological examination, and; <br />WHEREAS, the Police Chief has certified the eligibility list for the opening, and <br />Michael Hanson is the highest scoring candidate on the list, pending successful <br />completion of background investigation, physical and psychological examinations, and; <br />WHEREAS, staff of the Police Department has met with Michael Hanson, and the <br />Chief of Police recommends that he be appointed to the position of Police Officer. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota does hereby appoint Michael Hanson to the <br />position of Police Officer at the step two rate of pay ($29.33/hour) as indicated in the Law <br />Enforcement Labor Services contract. <br />,, 111:'Il:.,, <br />ATTEST, <br />(seal) <br />Adopted this 13th day of November, 2018. <br />d lae�l <br />Carol A.
