RESOLUTION 9036 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />Authorizing Z Systems, Inc. to Provide Equipment and Professional Services for the <br />City Council Chambers Audio/Video System Update <br />WHEREAS, the cable control room and related audio and video equipment is <br />antiquated with many components 20 to 25 years old; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has been working with several consultants and North Suburban <br />Access Corporation (NSAC) to develop a final design and equipment list for incorporation <br />into a Request for Proposal (RFP); and <br />WHEREAS, 16 Requests for Proposal were distributed and 6 responses were <br />received: and <br />WHEREAS, the budget establish for this project is $190,000 in the Cable Special <br />Revenue Fund; and <br />WHEREAS, staff concluded that Z Systems, Inc. had the proposal that best met our <br />requirements and needs. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council <br />authorizes Z Systems, Inc. to provide equipment and professional services for the City <br />Council Chambers audio/video system update at a cost not to exceed $169,637. The Mayor <br />and City Administrator are hereby authorized to enter into a purchase agreement/contract <br />with Z Systems, Inc. for this purpose. <br />Adopted this 13"' day of November, 2018 <br />Carol A.
