RESOLUTION 9042 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />IMPLEMENTING A NON-UNION PAY GRID EFFECTIVE DECEMBER 31, 2018 <br />WHEREAS, the Minnesota Pay Equity Act requires cities to prepare a pay <br />equity report every three years and be compliant; and <br />WHEREAS, the City experienced significant turnover during the last two <br />years; and <br />WHEREAS, a number of position descriptions were reviewed and amended <br />to reflect changing duties; and <br />WHEREAS, the City retained a consultant to review the new position <br />descriptions and score them for HAY points for cross comparison; and <br />WHEREAS, the result was that the City is minimally out of pay equity <br />compliance and the City can regain compliance by adopting the attached pay grid <br />effective December 31, 2018. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City <br />Council adopts and directs staff to implement the attached pay grid effective <br />December 31, 2018. <br />Adopted this 26'" day of November, 2018. <br />& —/-z lam' zz-L <br />Carol A.
