RESOLUTION 9033 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESCINDING RESOLUTION 9007 APPROVING THE CONTRACT WITH UPPER CUT <br />TREE SERVICE AND APPROVING RESOLUTION 9033 THE CONTRACT WITH 4 <br />SEASONS TREE CARE FOR TREE REMOVAL OF ACCESSIBLE AND NON - <br />ACCESSIBLE TREES <br />WHEREAS, proposals are received to perform tree removal and tree trimming <br />services to be performed as part of the Diseased Tree Ordinance; and <br />WHEREAS, these services are budgeted in 100-4380-3520; and <br />WHEREAS, there were four companies that submitted tree removal quotes for <br />trees that are accessible and trees that are not accessible; and <br />WHEREAS, the low quote was submitted by 4 Seasons Tree Care for trees smaller <br />and larger than 35 inches in diameter for non -accessible trees; and <br />WHEREAS, the low quote was submitted by 4 Seasons Tree Care for trees smaller <br />and larger than 35 inches in diameter for accessible trees; and, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. That a contract for non -accessible trees is hereby awarded to 4 Seasons <br />Tree Care for trees smaller and larger than 35 inches in diameter. <br />2. That a contract for accessible trees is hereby awarded to 4 Seasons Tree <br />Care for trees smaller and larger than 35 inches in diameter. <br />3. The City Council Approves Rescinding Resolution 9007 — Approving the <br />Contract with Upper Cut Tree Service. <br />4. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to <br />enter into a contract with 4 Seasons Tree Care to perform tree removal and <br />tree trimming for the City of Mounds View. Said contracts shall expire on <br />December 31, 2021. <br />5. The Mayor and City Administrator, Staff and consultants are hereby <br />authorized and directed to take all additional steps and actions necessary <br />or convenient in order to accomplish the intent of this resolution. <br />Adopted this 13th day of November, 2018 <br />ATTEST: AW <br />Carol A.
