RESOLUTION NO. 9055 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING THE PROMOTION OF BRIAN BEEMAN TO <br />ASSISTANT CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br />WHEREAS, Brian Beeman was hired as the Business Development Coordinator; <br />FTM <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Beeman has met and exceeded expectations in that position as <br />well as demonstrated a desire and ability to add more value to the City of Mounds View; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, An Assistant City Administrator adds value both in meeting strategic <br />and sustainability goals; and <br />WHEREAS, Council has discussed this at retreat and the 2019 proposed budget <br />includes sufficient resources for the pay range of the position as follows and: <br />step 1 <br />Step 1.5 <br />Step 2 <br />Step 3 <br />Step 4 <br />Step 5 <br />$39.34 <br />$40.57 <br />$41.50 <br />$44.26 <br />$46.71 <br />$49.17 <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Beeman is recommend to be assigned to Step 1 of the wage scale <br />effective January 1, 2019. <br />NOW, THEREFORE IT BE RESOLVED THAT the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View approves the following: <br />1. Brian Beeman shall be promoted to the Assistant City Administrator position <br />effective January 1, 2019, and be assigned to Step 1 of the pay range. <br />2. Mr. Beeman shall be subject to a six month promotional probationary period and <br />move to Step 1.5 on July 1, 2019 upon successful completion and on his one year <br />anniversary January 1, 2020 move to step 2. <br />Adopted this 10th Day of December, 2018 <br />/.Aw dw%� <br />Carol A.
