RESOLUTION 7164 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING A LEASE AGREEMENT AMENDMENT WITH VERIZON <br />WIRELESS FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A GENERATOR AT THE WATER <br />TOWER SITE <br />WHEREAS, Verizon Wireless has approached the City of Mounds View <br />with a proposal to install a 30kW, diesel powered generator; and <br />WHEREAS, this would be used as emergency power for the existing <br />equipment that Verizon Wireless leases space for at the Water Tower site, <br />located at 2434 Bronson Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, the proposal would require that the original contract be <br />amended; and <br />WHEREAS, the lease agreement amendment has been reviewed, and <br />approved by the City`s legal counsel; and <br />WHEREAS, lease agreement amendment provides for an additional <br />$300.00 per month, with an annual 4% escalator. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. The City Council approves an amendment to the Verizon Wireless <br />contract for antennas on the water tower. <br />2.
