ORDINANCE NO. 435 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 4, SECTION 4.02 OF THE HOME <br />RULE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />The Council of the City of Mounds View does hereby ordain: <br />SECTION I. The Mounds View Charter Commission met on <br />November 19, 1987 and unanimously approved an <br />amendment to the Home Rule Charter to comply with <br />the provisions of Minnesota Law relating to the <br />timelines for filing for candidacy for local office. <br />SECTION II. Chapter 4, Section 4.02 is amended to read <br />as follows: <br />Section 4.02 Filing for Office. No earlier than <br />seventy days nor later than fifty-six days <br />before any municipal election, any resident of the <br />city qualified under state law for elective office <br />may by filing an affidavit and by paying a filing <br />fee to the Clerk-Administrator in an amount as set <br />by ordinance, have his/her name placed on the <br />municipal election ballot. <br />SECTION III.
