ORDINANCE NO. 759 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />• COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MOUNDS VIEW CITY CHARTER <br />BY AMENDING SECTION 4.02 OF THE CHARTER RELATING TO <br />"FILING FOR OFFICE" <br />THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW DOES HEREBY ORDAIN: <br />SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Mounds View, pursuant to the <br />recommendation of the City of Mounds View City Charter Commission, has hereby <br />determined that Section 4.02, Subdivision 1 of the Charter of the City of Mounds View <br />relating to "Filing for Office" be amended by the addition of the bold and double - <br />underlined language and by the deletion of the bold and strIGken as follows: <br />Section 4.02. Filing for Office <br />Subdivision 1. Pursuant to Minnesota Statute 205.13, as amended, no earlier <br />than seventy days nor later than fifty-six days before any municipal election, any <br />resident of the City qualified under state law for elective office may, by filing an <br />affidavit and by paying a filing fee 20 or by filing a petition in complianc <br />with MN Statute 205.13, Subd. 4, as amended. to the Clerk -Administrator in <br />the amount of the GFdonanGe, have their name placed on the municipal election <br />ballot.
