RESOLUTION NO. 9071 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN <br />THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW AND LAW ENFORCEMENT LABOR SERVICES, INC. <br />LOCAL NO. 204 REGARDING VCET OFFICER SPECIALTY PAY <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View and Law Enforcement Labor Services, Inc., <br />Local #204 are parties to a 2017 — 2019 collective bargaining agreement; and <br />WHEREAS, during the term of this agreement, a Police Officer has been <br />assigned as a Violent Crime Enforcement Team (VCET) Officer with the Ramsey <br />County Sheriff's Department; and <br />WHEREAS, this investigative assignment is not specifically identified for <br />additional compensation in the current January 1, 2017 — December 31, 2019 Law <br />Enforcement Labor Services, Inc., Local #204 Labor Agreement; and <br />WHEREAS, the City and Union wish to fairly remedy this compensation matter; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Mounds View City Council <br />approves the attached Memorandum of Understanding adding language relating to <br />VCET Officer Specialty Pay. <br />Adopted this 28th day of January, 2019. <br />Carol A.
