RESOLUTION 9074 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF SECURITY CAMERAS FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS BUILDING <br />WHEREAS, The City Council has taken steps to improve security around City facilities with <br />the installation of security cameras; and <br />WHEREAS, The City Council previously authorized the installation of network cables in New <br />Public Works Facility to facilitate the installation of security cameras; and <br />WHEREAS, the cost of the cameras was not included in the quote with the installation of the <br />network cable: and <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Staff received the cost of the cameras of $7,500.00 from the <br />Roseville IT Department; and <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Staff met with the Finance Director and discussed options for the <br />purchase the cameras; and <br />WHEREAS, The Special Project Funds budget has $43,340.00 budgeted for Public Works <br />Building Cameras floor sealing and security system. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View, <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. Approves the purchase of cameras for the Public Works building at a cost of $7,500.00. <br />2.
