Mounds View Planning Commission February 6, 2019 <br />Regular Meeting Page 4 <br />________________________________________________________________________ <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Community Development Director Sevald provided the Commission with an update from staff. <br /> <br />Commissioner Farmer provided the Commission with an update on the Comprehensive Plan <br />addressing the concerns surrounding transit in Mounds View. The future reuse of several <br />commercial nodes within the community was further discussed, along with how retail was <br />changing. <br /> <br />C. Council Updates <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause provided the Planning Commission with an update from the City <br />Council. He stated the Council recently passed a three-year strategic plan. He discussed how the <br />plans for the Crossroad Pointe had amended since being reviewed by the Planning Commission. <br />He reviewed the Public Works proposed street maintenance plan for 2019, 2020 and 2021. <br />Lastly, he noted the City was in the process of purchasing the Skyline Motel. <br /> <br />D. Planning Commissioner Reports <br /> <br />Chair Stevenson reported the Daddy Daughter Dance would be held on Saturday, February 9th at <br />the Community Center at 5:30 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />8. Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />January 16, 2019. <br /> <br />Commissioner Nelson requested the minutes be amended to show Chair Klebsch did not call the <br />meeting to order, but rather Chair Stevenson. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Commissioner Klander/Commissioner Farmer. To approve the Minutes <br />of the January 16, 2019 regular Planning Commission meetings as amended. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 6 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />9.
