RESOLUTION NO. 7225 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION GRANTING THE NEW BRIGHTON/MOUNDS VIEW ROTARY A ONE <br />DAY PERMIT TO CONDUCT CHARITABLE GAMBLING AT THE MERMAID <br />ENTERAINMENT AND EVENT CENTER IN MOUNDS VIEW <br />WHEREAS, the New Brighton/Mounds View Rotary has requested that the Council <br />allow them to conduct charitable gambling at The Mermaid Entertainment and Event <br />Center on April 18, 2008; and <br />WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board requires that the local unit of government <br />pass a resolution specifically approving or denying requests to conduct charitable <br />gambling; and <br />WHEREAS, the New Brighton/Mounds View Rotary is in compliance with all <br />requirements of the Mounds View Municipal Code with regard to charitable gambling <br />regulations. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council does <br />hereby authorize the New Brighton/Mounds View Rotary to conduct charitable gambling at <br />The Mermaid Entertainment and Event Center on April 18, 2008. <br />Adopted this 11th day of February, 2008. <br />~`' ` <br />~~- ~:. <br />Rob Marty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Jim Ericson, Interim City Administrator <br />(seal) <br />
