RESOLUTION 7230 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OR RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZING THE ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR POSITION <br />WHEREAS, the current Community Development Director, James Ericson, has <br />been appointed as the Mounds View Clerk-Administrator; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View Community Development Department will <br />have a need to fill a fulltime, exempt position, due to this appointment; and <br />WHEREAS, staff would like to start the process of advertising for the Community <br />Development Director immediately. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View authorizes staff to prepare and post an advertisement for afull-time exempt <br />position of "Community Development Director" within the Community Development <br />Department. <br />NOW, MAY IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that once a qualified candidate is <br />selected for Community Development Director, staff would seek authorization from the <br />City Council to hire the individual. <br />Adopted this 24th day of March, 2008. <br />1. <br />Rob Marty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />~~rUV~IJ <br />Jim Ericson, Interim City Administrator <br />(seal) <br />
