EDA RESOLUTION NO. 05-EDA-199 MOUNDS VIEW ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING STAFF TO ARRANGE FOR AN APPRAISAL OF THE OUTDOOR SIGNS AT THE BRIDGES GOLF COURSE WHEREAS, the Mounds View Economic Development Authority (the "Authority") has directed staff to explore all potential options relating to the Bridges of Mounds View Golf Course (the "Bridges"), including the redevelopment of the course; and WHEREAS, the Authority has become aware through CRESA Partners of Minneapolis of the significant interest in The Bridges for a potential corporate office campus redevelopment and that Medtronic prefers not to have billboards located on the site; and WHEREAS, to effectively determine and assess the future redevelopment potential, the Authority recognizes the need to evaluate and determine the appraised value of the six outdoor signs located on the Bridges Golf Course property; and WHEREAS, staff has received two proposals from qualified commercial appraisers to conduct an appraisal in accordance with all regulatory guidelines and standards; and WHEREAS, the appraisal firm Patchin Messner & Dodd of Burnsville, MN submitted the lowest cost proposal to conduct an appraisal of the outdoor signs at The Bridges Golf Course. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Mounds View Economic Development Authority hereby authorizes the appraising firm of Patchin Messner & Dodd to conduct an appraisal of the six outdoor signs located at The Bridges Golf Course site in accordance with their proposal dated January 10, 2005, at a cost not to exceed $14,000.
