d. Liability Insurance: Before a license is issued, the applicant shall file with the City <br />Administrator evidence that the applicant has in effect public liability insurance for the <br />hauler's business and for all vehicles that will be used to haul in the City of Mounds View <br />Solid Waste Management Standafd& <br />SECTION 5. The City Council of the City of Mounds View hereby amends Title 600, Chapter <br />606, Section 606.03 of the Mounds View Municipal Code by adding the double -underlined <br />material and deleting the sin material as follows: <br />606.03: DESTRUCTION BY CITY AUTHORITY: When the owner or person in control <br />of any plot of ground fails to destroy grasses or weeds growing thereon as provided herein, the <br />Code Enforcement Official or its designee, eantende-nt of Pahlie Work of the City, shall <br />destroy or cause to be cut such grasses or weeds and any expense incurred by the City „nam <br />a thofity of theSuperinlenuepA of P ublie W„in so doing shall be a charge against the owner or <br />other person so failing, which may be recovered on behalf of the City by recording a lien against <br />the property for the cost of said cutting or by instituting an appropriate action at law. Said cost <br />shall be an amount as determined by the City. <br />SECTION 6. The City Council of the City of Mounds View hereby amends Title 600, Chapter <br />607, Section 607.03, subdivision 3(b) of the Mounds View Municipal Code by adding the double - <br />underlined material as follows: <br />b. All limbs of trees which are less than eight feet (8') above the surface of any public <br />street sidewalk or alley. <br />SECTION 7. The City Council of the City of Mounds View hereby amends Title 600, Chapter <br />607, Section 607.06, Subdivision 2 of the Mounds View Municipal Code by adding the double - <br />underlined material and deleting the Miele material as follows: <br />Subd. 2. Unlawful Parking And Storage: <br />a. No person may place, store, or allow the placement or storage of non -drop axle ice <br />fish houses, skateboard ramps, play houses, or other similar nonpermanent structures <br />outside continuously for longer than twenty four (24) hours in the front -yard area of <br />residentially -zoned property. <br />b. No person may place, store or allow the placement or storage of pipe, lumber, steel, <br />machinery, or similar materials, including all materials used in connection with a business, <br />outside on residentially -zoned property. <br />C.
