Dr. impacting their homes and quality of life. It is a major impact on the
surrounding neighborhood as it impacts daily noise and traffic not to mention additional safety
concerns with the student, small children and seniors in the neighborhood that walk along Woodale
D r.
Thanks for the traffic study but really as of 2015, a lot has changed in traffic since then? This has not
had the additional traffic from the industrial park namely the trampoline park and Allina included nor
the reconstruction of Co. Rd H intersection and traffic. As you know Mounds View Blvd has more
traffic since 2015 and we also see many more cars, trucks and motorcycles on Woodale than this
study shows. Not to mention the fact that Woodale has been severely abused when it comes to the
construction traffic as the road has cracked with holes and has been patched numerous times all due
to the additional traffic. We see semi -trucks and a lot of school related delivery trucks on Woodale
already and a new major driveway WILL have a sever impact on the residential area near the
driveway.
We were told the Bell- Rae senior building would not have impact on the traffic yet nearly everyday
they are parking on O'Connel Dr and sometimes on Jeffery Dr. Not to mention the additional tucks
hauling trailers to maintain the senior housing facility. All due to the lack of parking and size of the
structure shoehorned into the small lot that was re -zoned.
The city is making life for residential R1 housing impossible and non-existent. Why not buy out ALL
of this tree block area and turn it into business property since you effectively are doing that already
by isolating us with high traffic commercial or CUD zoned property.
Very disappointed in MV development decisions. Why are you biased against single family homes
and neighborhoods?
Regards,
Mark
From: Jon Sevald [mailto:jon.sevald@moundsviewmn.org]
Sent: Monday, November 05, 2018 10:34 AM
To: 'mgavett'
Cc: Nyle Zikmund
Subject: RE: Questions on Edgewood Middle School public hearing notice
