access without having to walk through the parking lot with bus traffic or cross Co. Rd H at Edgewood
and then cross back again to get to the bus area.
Second notice, the upper addition and parking lot variance to 0' setback and new upper addition:
If we understand correctly the idea of the setback is to match the parking lot to the front parking so
there will be zero feet between the sidewalk and parking lot. This has a concern that someone may
inadvertently drive forward and hit a pedestrian on the side walk. Will there be some sort of barrier
system between the sidewalk and parking lot so this will not be an issue or possible accident? Also
where is snow removal going to be as this area was where they pushed snow accumulations during
winter months and huge piles?
Regarding the building addition to the north highlighted in yellow (upper parking lot) This layout
shows the parking lot has been rearranged and has the nomenclature of medium Bituminous for the
parking lot changes. This also looks like they plan a driveway access to Woodale where the current
walking path is. This would be the path along the tennis courts that empties to Woodale directly at
Greenfield & Woodale. If this is a new driveway entrance or exit for vehicles that is a MAJOR
CONCERN. Woodale has a large number of high speed vehicles and enough traffic already. An
entrance to the parking lot would be a large traffic change to the area as right now most of the
traffic is contained on Edgewood dr. and remains on Edgewood Dr. to Co. Rd H2 and to the south Co.
Rd H. If this is changed for the parking lot to have an entrance or exit onto Woodale it will have a
large majority of the parking lot exiting to Woodale which is NOT desirable to any of the R1
neighbors along Woodale Dr. This was also NOT pointed out on the notice and may require another
notice and public hearing since notice was not given about the driveway addition.
PLEASE tell us that this is not the case and a parking lot driveway connection to Woodale is NOT in
the plans.
In regards to the addition is it intended to house the recycling & garbage dumpsters? The noise
from the current garbage haulers emptying the large dumpsters is already loud enough, we don't
need it any closer to the houses in the neighborhood. If it is to house the dumpsters will they be
accessed from the north side or the west side of the new addition. Preferably the west side or left in
the current spot they are at today.
And last this parking lot and addition were also a snow accumulation site for winter snow piles —
where are they planning to put all the snow with these spots removed?
Please reply and if you would share this with the members of the public hearing as we have these
concerns but will not be able to attend. —Thank You
