<br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9086 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />APPROVING THE FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR THE 2019 STREET PROJECT AND <br />AUTHORIZING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is considering the 2019 Street Project to <br />include Woodale Drive, from Mounds View Boulevard to Edgewood Drive, along with the <br />Silver View Park – parking lot and the SBM Fire Department, Station 1- parking lot; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Spring Lake Park, Blaine and Mounds View Fire Department <br />(SBM) has also asked if the City would assist with coordinating the rehabilitation of the <br />parking lot at Fire Station #1 located at 1710 County Highway 10 in Spring Lake Park in <br />conjunction with the 2019 Street Project. This will be a bid alternate on the documents <br />and should SBM agree to the cost, they will be funding this portion. A joint powers <br />agreement has been submitted to the attorney for review; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this project will include pavement rehabilitation, and necessary <br />concrete improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at the February 4, 2019 Council Work Session a proposal was <br />received for an additional sidewalk on the South side of Woodale Drive. Edgewood Middle <br />School will also be performing a remodeling project and approached the City regarding <br />the extension of the existing sidewalk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the feasibility study and authorized <br />plans and specifications; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the estimated total cost of the improvement derived from the feasibility <br />study is $900,000; and <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View approves the feasibility study and authorizes plans and specifications for <br />the 2019 Street Project from Stantec Consulting Services, Inc. The City Council further <br />approves going out to bid with the plans and specifications. <br /> <br />Adopted this 25th day of February, 2019 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Carol A.
