Mounds View City Council February 11, 2019 <br />Regular Meeting Page 3 <br /> <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />B. Resolution 9080, Approval of Minor Subdivision, 8465 Red Oak Drive. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Sevald requested the Council approve a Minor Subdivision <br />for the property at 8465 Red Oak Drive. He discussed how the lot would be split and noted the <br />request was in compliance with the City’s Comprehensive Plan. He explained the Planning <br />Commission reviewed this matter at their February 6th meeting and recommended approval. <br /> <br />Mayor Mueller asked what the width and depth of the two new lots would be. Community <br />Development Director Sevald reported each lot would be 75 feet wide and 231 feet deep. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause questioned if the applicant would be constructing the homes. <br />Patrick Schmeichel, 17754 Aztec Street in Andover, stated he would be completing the <br />construction of the new homes. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause inquired how large the new homes would be. Mr. Schmeichel <br />commented the first home would be approximately 2,800 square feet in size with a three-car <br />garage. He reported the plans for the second home were not yet finalized. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Meehlhause. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9080, <br />Approval of Minor Subdivision, 8465 Red Oak Drive. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />C. Resolution 9075, Approving Transfers between Funds for 2018. <br /> <br />Finance Director Beer requested the Council approve transfers between funds for 2018. He <br />reported this action occurred each year to support activities or overhead support for the utility <br />funds. He explained these transfers are completed at the end of each year in order to see if the <br />City has a surplus or deficit. He provided further comment on the proposed budget transfers and <br />recommended approval. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Gunn. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9075, <br />Approving Transfers between Funds for 2018. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />D. Resolution 9076 Approving the Adoption of the Ramsey County Multi- <br />Hazard Mitigation Plan. <br /> <br />Police Chief Harder requested the Council approve the Ramsey County Multi-Hazard Mitigation <br />Plan. He commented on the document further with the Council and noted this document would <br />make the City eligible to apply for grants.
