RESOLUTION 7279 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING THE FEASIBILITY REPORT, ORDERING THE PROJECT WITH <br />REVISED SCOPE, AUTHORIZING THE PREPARATIONS OF PLANS AND <br />SPECIFICATIONS, AND AUTHORIZING EASEMENT PREPARATION <br />ACTIVITIES FOR THE COUNTY ROAD 10 TRAILWAY PROJECT: <br />SEGMENTS 1- 5 <br />WHEREAS, on January 9, 2006 the City Council approved Resolution <br />6716 authorizing the preparation of a preliminary feasibility report and consultant <br />selection for the County Road 10 Trailway, Lighting, and Landscape Project <br />which included segments 1-5; and <br />WHEREAS, on November 5, 2007, a draft preliminary feasibility report for <br />the County Road 10 Trailway Project: Segments 1-5 was submitted for the City <br />Council's review; and <br />WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held on this project on November 13, <br />2007; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council subsequently directed that the project scope <br />should be revised; and <br />WHEREAS, revised information on the scope and associated cost of the <br />project was prepared and presented to the City Council on June 9, 2008; and <br />WHEREAS, the construction of said improvements has been determined <br />to be necessary, cost effective and feasible; and <br />WHEREAS, should the Council wish to proceed with this project, the next <br />step in the public improvement process is to order the project; and <br />WHEREAS, should the Council wish to proceed, the next step in the <br />engineering process is to order the preparation of plans and specifications; and <br />WHEREAS, the feasibility report indicates that there is a need for <br />additional temporary construction easements and permanent easements for the <br />construction of the proposed trailway improvements; and <br />WHEREAS, the following is a list of recommended actions, should the City <br />Council wish to proceed with this project: approve the feasibility report, order the <br />project, authorize the preparations of plans and specifications, and authorize <br />easement preparation activities for the County Road 10 Trailway Project: <br />Segments 1-5. <br />
