RESOLUTION 9097 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF (2) 20'X 20' PARK <br />SHELTERS FOR CITY HALL PARK <br />WHEREAS, the City Council vision was to improve the City Hall Park to include a <br />new Playground and Splash Pad; and <br />WHEREAS, the playground equipment at City Hall Park is currently being replaced <br />along with the addition of a splash pad; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council discussed adding park shelters for use at City Hall <br />Park; and <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota/Wisconsin Playground of Golden Valley, Minnesota <br />prepared a proposal for 2 park shelters and installation for a cost of $57,529.00; and <br />WHEREA, the Parks and Recreation and Forestry Commission along with Staff is <br />recommending the City Council adopt attached resolution to approving the purchase and <br />installation of (2) park shelters at City Hall Park. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. Approves the Purchase and installation of 2 park shelters as proposed by <br />Minnesota/Wisconsin for the amount of $57,529.00. <br />2. Monies for the above said purchase and installation shall be funded by the <br />Park Dedication Fund (451-4470-7050) with a 2019 budget amount of <br />$58,000.00 for this work. <br />3. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute all appropriate documents to effectuate the actions contemplated by <br />this resolution. <br />4. The Mayor and City Administrator, staff and consultants are hereby authorized <br />and directed to take any and all additional steps and actions necessary or <br />convenient in order to accomplish the intent of this Resolution. <br />Adopted this 8t" day of April, 2019 <br />Carol A.
