RESOLUTION 9112 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE CITY HALL / POLICE <br />REMODEL AND AUTHORIZE BIDDING <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has discussed the option of remodeling City Hall in order to <br />provide more space for the Police Department; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council approved the proposal from Buetow 2 Architects for <br />Professional Architectural and Engineering Services for the proposed City Hall Remodel; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff and Buetow 2 Architects have been working on concept plans and <br />designs; and <br />WHEREAS, Buetow 2 Architects, Inc. submitted the draft plans and specifications for the <br />remodel project; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council was presented the draft plans along with the cost proposals <br />at the May 6'h 2019 Work Session; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to see hard numbers and bids for this remodel <br />project, City Project 2018-0O3. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View, <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. Approves the Plans and Specifications for the proposed City Hall Remodel. <br />2. Approves advertising for bids for City Project 2018-0O3. <br />3. Funding exists in the Special Project Fund, account 480-4180-7050-110 for this project. <br />4. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to execute all <br />appropriate documents to effectuate the actions contemplated by this resolution. <br />5. The Mayor and City Administrator, Staff and consultants are hereby authorized and directed <br />to take any and all additional steps and actions necessary or convenient in order to <br />accomplish the intent of this Resolution. <br />Adopted this 13h day of May, 2019 <br />C, Carol A.
