RESOLUTION NO. 9118 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING MODIFIED CITY HALL HOURS ON TRIAL BASIS FOR MONTHS OF <br />JUNE, JULY AND AUGUST 2019 <br />WHEREAS, The City Council adopted a strategic plan that included strategies to <br />increase community engagement and adopt human resource polices to help recruit and <br />retain quality employees; and <br />WHEREAS, City Hall traffic on Fridays, especially the afternoon is relatively slow; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, flexibility of schedule can be a highly valued benefit that carries <br />minimal if any fiscal impact; and <br />WHEREAS, conducting a trial period for modified hours will enable council, staff <br />and the community the ability to assess the impact. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View approves modifying City Hall hours from the current schedule of five days <br />per week from 8:00 AM to 4:30 pm to four days per week from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM starting <br />June 3, 2019 and ending on August 30, 2019. <br />Adopted this 28nd day of May, 2019 <br />Carol A.
