Mounds View City Council May 28, 2019 <br />Regular Meeting Page 4 <br /> <br /> 1 <br />C. Second Reading and Adoption of Ordinance 957, Updating Chapter 1000 of 2 <br />the Mounds View Municipal Code and Summary Publication. 3 <br /> 4 <br />City Administrator Zikmund requested the Council adopt an Ordinance updating Chapter 1000 of 5 <br />the City Code. He reviewed the minor changes that were made to this portion of the code and 6 <br />recommended approval. 7 <br /> 8 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Bergeron. To Waive the Second Reading and Adopt 9 <br />Ordinance 957, Updating Chapter 1000 of the Mounds View Municipal Code and Summary 10 <br />Publication. 11 <br /> 12 <br />ROLL CALL: Bergeron/Gunn/Meehlhause/Mueller. 13 <br /> 14 <br />Council Member Hull was not present for the roll call vote. 15 <br /> 16 <br /> Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 17 <br /> 18 <br />D. Resolution 9118, Approving Pilot Trial of City Hall Hours of Operation. 19 <br /> 20 <br />City Administrator Zikmund requested the Council approve a pilot trial of new City Hall hours of 21 <br />operation. He explained the new hours would assist the City in providing better customer service 22 <br />while also assisting the City with employee retention efforts. He stated three members of the 23 <br />administrative staff would be working on Fridays. He reported the new hours would begin on 24 <br />June 1st and would run through the end of August on a trial basis. 25 <br /> 26 <br />Council Member Hull returned to the Council Chambers. 27 <br /> 28 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Bergeron. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9118, 29 <br />Approving Pilot Trial of City Hall Hours of Operation. 30 <br /> 31 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 32 <br /> 33 <br />E. Resolution 9120, Approving Retirement Health Savings Plan Policy 34 <br />Revisions. 35 <br /> 36 <br />City Administrator Zikmund requested the Council approve revisions to the City’s Retirement 37 <br />Health Savings Plan Policy. He commented on the proposed changes that were made to the plan 38 <br />and recommended approval. 39 <br /> 40 <br />Mayor Mueller asked if all three groups came to a consensus on this item. City Administrator 41 <br />Zikmund reported two groups supported the changes and one group chose not to make a change. 42 <br /> 43 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Hull/Meehlhause. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9120, 44 <br />Approving Retirement Health Savings Plan Policy Revisions. 45
