The machines to be <br />replaced are the main copy room, police, and finance/community development departments. <br />Staff sent out requests for proposals (RFP) to 6 vendors and the quote tabulation is attached. <br />The last time these copiers were replaced was in February of 2014, and at that time the <br />purchase price was $18,200. The low bid for purchase this time is $13,814. The cost of the <br />machines has dropped by 24% over 2014. <br />The attached resolution authorizes the purchase of three copiers and trade-in or auction of <br />the old machines. The Vehicle and Equipment fund has an appropriation of $20,500 for the <br />purchase (460-4160-7030).
