RESOLUTION 9134 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZE STORMWATER PIPE REPAIRS AT 8240 SUNNYSIDE ROAD <br />WHEREAS, the Public Works Staff investigated a potential problem with the storm sewer <br />system at 8240 Sunnyside Road; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff determined that two sections of pipe and the structure would need to be <br />replaced; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff contacted two companies to provide a quote to complete the necessary <br />repair work and they are as follows: <br />• Dave Perkins Contracting Inc. $16,950.00 <br />• Belair Sitework Services $18,343.00 <br />WHEREAS, funding for this work would come from the Storm Water Fund, 745-4415- <br />5150, which includes $110,000.00 in the adopted 2019 budget for storm sewer repairs and <br />maintenance. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View, <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. The City Council hereby approves the quote from Dave Perkins Contracting Inc. ,of <br />Nowthen MN, for $16,950.00 for Storm Sewer Repairs at 8240 Sunnyside Road. The <br />City Council approves a 7% contingency of $1,186.50 be included for any unforeseen <br />problems that may arise during this repair for a total of $18,136.50. <br />2. Funding will be from the 2019 adopted budget, Storm Water Fund, 745-4415-5150. <br />3. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to execute all <br />appropriate documents to effectuate the actions contemplated by this resolution. <br />4.
