RESOLUTION 9135 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZING THE CONSULTING SERVICES FOR THE DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION <br />FOR THE 2020 STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is considering the 2020 Street Project which includes <br />Quincy Street from County Road H2 to County Road I; and <br />WHEREAS, Quincy Street from County Road H2 to County Road I is approximately 2,660 <br />feet in length and maintenance has included seal coating, pothole patching and skim coating as <br />needed, -and <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Staff has solicited a fee estimate proposal from Stantec for <br />professional engineering services for the 2020 Street Project as follows: <br />• Design/Construction Documents fee: $93,000 <br />• Bidding fee: $4,000 <br />• Construction Services/Survey fee: $37,000 <br />• Record Plans fee $4,100 <br />WHEREAS, funding for the design portion of the project would come from the Street <br />Improvement Fund account, 485-4470-7050 with a 2019 budget amount of $55,000 for <br />engineering Quincy Street. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View, <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. The City hereby approves the quote from Stantec Consulting Services of Minneapolis <br />MN, for the 2020 Quincy Street Rehabilitation for a total estimated cost of $138,100. <br />2. The City Council approves the design portion of the proposal of Quincy Street from <br />County Road H2 to County Road I, from the Street Improvement Fund, 485-4470- <br />7050. <br />3. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to execute all <br />appropriate documents to effectuate the actions contemplated by this resolution. <br />4.
