MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION 1098-19 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF ORDINANCE NO. 959 <br />AMENDING TITLE 1100, CHAPTER 1104 OF THE MOUNDS VIEW CITY CODE <br />RELATING TO MINIMUM FLOOR AREA PER DWELLING UNIT <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View City Code, Title 1100, Chapter 1104, Section <br />1104.02 establishes a minimum dwelling unit size, per bedroom; and, <br />WHEREAS, INH Properties has proposed to construct an apartment building to include <br />Studio Apartments, which have less than one -bedroom and have a minimum floor area of 526 sq <br />ft; and, <br />WHEREAS, the following amendment to the City Code is proposed: <br />ORDINANCE NO. 959 <br />THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW ORDAINS: <br />SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Mounds View hereby amends Title 1100, Chapter <br />1104, Section 1104.02 of the Mounds View Municipal Code by adding the double -underlined <br />material and deleting the striP4R,4g material as follows: <br />Subd. 4. Minimum Floor Area Per Dwelling Unit: <br />C. Multiple Dwelling Units: Living units classified as multiple dwellings shall have <br />the following minimum floor areas per unit: <br />Less than (1) bedroom unit 520 square feet <br />(1) One (1) bedroom units 630 square feet <br />(2) Two (2) bedroom units 750 square feet <br />
