Jaschke, Kathy
From: andria grove <agrove44@yahoo.com>
Sent: Thursday, June 13, 2019 2:46 PM
To: Jaschke, Kathy
Subject: Opposition to the elimination of parking on the west side of long lake rd
External message alert: This message originated from outside the Ramsey County email system. Use caution when
clicking hyperlinks, downloading pictures or opening attachments.
I have a major concern on the elimination of parking on the west side of Long Lake Rd. My concerns are as follow.
- During high volume traffic times I feel it's going to be nearly impossible to get out of my driveway as I live on the west
side of the street. This is already hard especially during the school months.
- I feel there is definitely much more room for cars to park on the west side due to the major spacing of driveways.
there is little to no parking on the east side of the street in front of my house due to the closeness of driveways and
also the bus stop and fire hydrant
- any guests that may eventually find parking on the east side of street will have a difficult time crossing due to the high
amount of people who speed down this road. I don't think a narrower lane or less parking will abolish this problem
- when 1 go to get my mail I feel I would be at greater risk of getting hit by a car due to the narrowing of the our already
existing shoulder.
- most cars park on the west side of the street rather than east side.
- my home will not have the same parking opportunities as it did when I bought it. If and whenever I decide to sell.
- if I have guests over and parking is eliminated I don't know how far they will have to walk when coming to my home.
Andria Grove
5155 Long Lake Rd
Mounds View MN 55112
Sent from Yahoo Mail for Phone
