To Table Action on Resolution 9133 to the July 8, 2019 City <br />5 Council meeting. <br />6 <br />7 Ayes — 5 Nays — 0 Motion carried. <br />8 <br />9 9. REPORTS <br />10 A. Reports of Mayor and Council. <br />11 <br />12 Council Member Bergeron reported discussions were held at the June 3rd Council worksession as <br />13 a result of the May 21St Charter Commission meeting that led the Council to direct staff to seek <br />14 the resignation of two commission members. At the June 10th Council meeting, after Public <br />15 Comment, it was moved and approved a meeting or meetings should be held between <br />16 representatives of the Council, and members of the Charter Commission. On June 18th a meeting <br />17 was held with four members of the Charter Commission. These were individual meetings as not <br />18 all members could accommodate being in the same room at the same time. At the conclusion of <br />19 these meetings, the decision was made not recommend changing the Council's direction to staff. <br />20 <br />21 Mayor Mueller thanked Council Member Bergeron for the summary and noted she too attended <br />22 these meetings. She noted this matter would be taken up again by the City Council at the July 1st <br />23 worksession meeting. <br />24 <br />25 Council Member Meehlhause stated he would be attending the League of Minnesota Cities <br />26 Conference in Duluth later this week. <br />27 <br />28 Council Member Gunn noted she would also be attending this conference. She stated the Police <br />29 Foundation would be meeting on Tuesday, July 91h and the Festival in the Park Committee would <br />30 be meeting on Tuesday, July 161h <br />31 <br />32 Mayor Mueller stated on Tuesday, June 25th at 10:00 a.m. a story time would be hosted at the <br />33 corner of Groveland and Arden. She encouraged all residents with children to attend. <br />34 <br />35 Mayor Mueller indicated she appreciated the fact the majority of the Council would be attending <br />36 the League of Minnesota Cities Conference this week. She congratulated Council Member <br />37 Sherry Gunn for being named the Elected Official Leadership Award which was presented by the <br />38 Minnesota Women in City Government. A round of applause was offered by all in attendance. <br />39 <br />40 Mayor Mueller reported the next Police Foundation fundraiser at Von Hansen's would be held on <br />41 Saturday, July 20th <br />42 <br />43 Mayor Mueller indicated Cone with a Cop would be held on Saturday, July 131h at the Mounds <br />44 View McDonald's from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. <br />45 <br />
