ORDINANCE NO. 959 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 1100, CHAPTER 1104 OF THE MOUNDS VIEW <br />CITY CODE RELATING TO MINIMUM FLOOR AREA PER DWELLING UNIT <br />THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW ORDAINS: <br />SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Mounds View hereby amends Title 1100, Chapter <br />1104, Section 1104.02 of the Mounds View Municipal Code by adding the double -underlined <br />material and deleting the sin material as follows: <br />Subd. 4. Minimum Floor Area Per Dwelling Unit: <br />C. Multiple Dwelling Units: Living units classified as multiple dwellings shall have <br />the following minimum floor areas per unit: <br />Less than (1) bedroom unit 520 square feet <br />(1) One (1) bedroom units 630 square feet <br />(2) Two (2) bedroom units 750 square feet <br />(3) More than two (2) bedroom units - an additional one hundred twenty (120) <br />square feet for each additional bedroom. <br />SECTION 2. In accordance with Section 3.07 of the City Charter, City staff shall have the <br />following summary printed in the official City newspaper in lieu of the complete ordinance: <br />On July 8, 2019, the City Council adopted Ordinance 959 that amends Title 1100, <br />Chapter 1104, of the Mounds View City Code, relating to the minimum floor area per <br />dwelling unit. <br />A printed copy of the ordinance is available for inspection during regular business hours at <br />Mounds View City Hall and is available on line at the City's web site located at <br />www.moundsviewmn.org. <br />
