RESOLUTION 9145 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING THE SERVICE PROPOSAL WITH GOODPOINTE TECHNOLOGY FOR <br />PAVEMENT EVALUATION SERVICES AND SOFTWARE TRAINING <br />WHEREAS, Public Works oversees the pavement management for 40 miles of streets within <br />Mounds View and part the pavement management is performing pavement evaluation or pavement <br />ratings; and <br />WHEREAS, this task has been completed in the past by using a contractor as well as <br />Public Works Staff; and <br />WHEREAS, the last time the contractor assisted the City with these road ratings was prior to <br />the street reconstruction project in 2009. <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Staff has received a proposal for Goodpointe Technology to <br />perform the pavement ratings in addition to training on the software program; and <br />WHEREAS, GoodPointe will perform training for Staff on the software program used to <br />compile and calculate the pavement ratings. The proposal is as follows: <br />Pavement Condition Survey $10,780.00 <br />Onsite ICON software training $500.00 <br />Total $11,280.00 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View, <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />Approves the Service Proposal from GoodPointe Technology to perform pavement <br />ratings and software training. <br />2. That a proposal is as follows: Pavement Condition Survey $10,780.00, onsite <br />software training $500.00 for a total of $11,280.00. <br />3. To be funded from accounts 485-4470-3030, 745-4415-3030, 100-4475-3030- <br />100-4410-3030. <br />4. The Mayor and City Administrator, staff and consultants are hereby authorized <br />and directed to take all additional steps and actions necessary or convenient in <br />order to accomplish the intent of this resolution. <br />Adopted this 22nd day of July, 2019. <br />Carol A.
