RESOLUTION 9157 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA APPROVAL OF A SERVICE CONTRACT WITH PIONEER CRITICAL POWER INC. FOR STAND-BY EMERGENCY GENERATORS WHEREAS, the City owns three stand-by emergency generators which require more complicated contractor assistance with preventative maintenance to allow reliable, efficient and safe operation while providing emergency power to City buildings including City Hall as designated as the Emergency Operation Center (EOC), the main water treatment plant, Public Works and the Sanitary Sewer lift stations; and WHEREAS, Public Works Staff can perform basic and some limited maintenance, City Staff is not trained and does not have the necessary credentials to perform the needed annual inspections and testing on these generators; and WHEREAS, Public Works Staff has received a quote from Pioneer Critical Power Inc. as follows: City Hall / EOC Generator: Year 1: $552.96 annual ($487.45 annual no parts) Year 2: $575.08 annual ($506.91 annual no parts) Year 3: $598.08 annual ($527.19 annual no parts) Year 4: $622.00 annual ($548.28 annual no parts) Year 5: $646.88 annual ($570.21 annual no parts) Sanitary Sewer Department Generators: Year 1: $1,105.92 annual ($902.82 annual no parts) Year 2: $1,150.16 annual ($938.94 annual no parts) Year 3: $1,196.16 annual ($976.50 annual no parts) Year 4: $1,244.00 annual ($1,105.56 annual no parts) Year 5: $1,293.76 annual ($1,056.18 annual no parts) Water Department Generators: Year 1: $1,496.40 annual ($981.30 annual no parts) Year 2: $1,556.26 annual ($1,020.54 annual no parts) Year 3: $1,618.51 annual ($1,061.37 annual no parts) Year 4: $1,685.25 annual ($1,103.82 annual no parts) Year 5: $1,750.58 annual ($1,147.97 annual no parts)
