RESOLUTION NO 9168 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZING RECRUITMENT PROCESS FOR POLICE OFFICER POSITION <br />WHEREAS, effective November 27, 2019 Deputy Chief Steven Menard will <br />retire from the Mounds View Police Department; and <br />WHEREAS, a need exists to advertise for a Police Officer position; and <br />WHEREAS, a Police Officer position may take three to four months to test <br />and hire for; and <br />WHEREAS, the position is estimated to start in the winter of 2019. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br />authorizes Staff to advertise for the upcoming vacancy for the Police Officer position. <br />ATTEST: <br />Adopted this 23rd day of September, 2019. <br />44� ZZAIZZM� <br />Carol A.
