RESOLUTION NO. 7305 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />ATHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE YMCA AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL <br />SERICES -EVENT CENTER MANAGEMENT STAFF <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds has entered into an Agreement for Professional Services <br />dated January 14, 1999, that provides for the YMCA to assist in the management of the <br />Community Center and recreation programs; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View desires to add additional services to that agreement <br />to provide for full-time status for the Event Center Staff position as approved in Resolution 6980; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, increasing the position to full-time will further the City's goal of providing <br />improved customer service and marketing efforts for the Community Center; and <br />WHEREAS, the position is consistent with the Mounds View Community Center Task <br />Force recommendation to provide a single point of contact for the facility under the direction of <br />the YMCA; and <br />WHEREAS, the City will provide for the additional cost of making this afull-time position in <br />the 2009 Community Center Budget <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Mounds View <br />does hereby authorize the City Clerk-Administrator to execute an amended Agreement for <br />Professional Services to provide for the additional hours needed to make the Event Center Staff <br />position full-time and authorizes staff to increase the 2008 budget account 252-4730-3030 by <br />$5,700. <br />Adopted this 28'h day of July 2008. <br />~~ <br />Rob arty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />J~ ~- <br />James Ericson, City Clerk-Administrator <br />(SEAL) <br />
