RESOLUTION 7317 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC SERVICE OFFICER (PSO) TO WORK UP <br />TO AN ADDITIONAL TEN HOURS PER WEEK IN THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />DEPARTMENT ON CODE ENFORCEMENT ACTIVITY <br />WHEREAS, to address the recent volume of City Code violations, there is an <br />immediate need in the Community Development Department to increase its code <br />enforcement presence to better respond to complaints and violations; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Public Service Officer, who presently works ten hours perweek in <br />the department on code enforcement duties, is able to work an additional ten hours per <br />week on code enforcement activity through October 31, 2008; and, <br />WHEREAS, the cost for the additional ten hours per week through October 31, <br />2008, will be assigned to the existing community development personnel budget with no <br />further adjustment or modifications necessary. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council of <br />authorizes the Public Service Officer to work up to an additional ten hours per week on <br />code enforcement duties through October 31, 2008. <br />Adopted this 11th day of August, 2008. <br />Rob arty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />James Ericson, City Administrator <br />(SEAL..) <br />
