RESOLUTION 7313 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />Authorizing the Purchase and installation of 1300 Neptune R900 Radio Read <br />Devices <br />WHEREAS, the City Council approved resolution 7203 on January 14, 2008 <br />authorizing the purchase of 1,200 Neptune R900 radio read devices; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff has already installed 1000 of the 1200 units; and <br />WHEREAS, 367 readers were defective at the 2"d quarter reading; and <br />WHEREAS, the remaining approximately 1133 working units will most likely fail <br />in the near future; and <br />WHEREAS, Northern Water Works Supply will honor their original bid; and <br />WHEREAS, the Water Enterprise Fund budget would need to be adjusted for the <br />purchase. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. Staff is authorized to purchase 1300 Neptune R900 Radio Read devices <br />from Northern Water Works Supply in the amount of $123,682.00. <br />2.
