RESOLUTION 7335 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZING A REQUEST FOR A MNDOT COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT <br />PROJECT AT THE INTERSECTION OF <br />COUNTY HIGHWAY 10 AND COUNTY ROAD H <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View has identified the need for improvements to <br />the intersection of County Highway 10 and County Road H; and <br />WHEREAS, the proposed improvements to the intersection include a new traffic <br />signal; reconstruction of the intersection including designated left turn lanes on County <br />Road H, and advanced signal flashers for traffic exiting I-35W; and <br />WHEREAS, the project will address the traffic safety and operation of traffic on <br />County Highway 10 which serves as the west leg of the I-35W interchange; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is requesting the financial participation of <br />the Minnesota Department of Transportation through the Municipal Agreement <br />Program; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is committed to providing the local share of <br />the costs if the project is selected for inclusion in the Fiscal Year 2010 Municipal <br />Agreement Program. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota that the Minnesota Department of <br />Transportation consider a proposal to replace the signal system and construct roadway <br />improvements at the intersection of County Highway 10 and County Road H in the 2009 <br />Cooperative Agreement program. <br />Adopted this 22na day of September 2008. <br />~~ ~ G"~2_ <br />Rob arty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: `/~~1~ ~%~'~~ <br />James Ericson, Clerk-Administrator <br />(SEAL) <br />
