RESOLUTION NO. 7334 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTING A TIME EXTENSION FOR COMPLETING THE 2008 <br />COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATE <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View has started the required 2008 update of the <br />Comprehensive Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, Mounds View desires to complete the plan update in a thorough and timely <br />manner; and <br />WHEREAS, the City needs additional time to complete the required plan update; and <br />WHEREAS, the City expects the Planning Commission to complete their work on the <br />Plan update by November 19, 2008; and <br />WHEREAS, the City expects the City Council to approve the draft plan update by <br />December 31, 2008; and <br />WHEREAS, the City should have the final draft plan complete and ready to submit to the <br />Metropolitan Council by May 2009; and <br />WHEREAS, the City will update its fiscal devices and official controls (if necessary) by <br />December 2009. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council does <br />hereby authorize City staff to request the Metropolitan Council approve a time extension to <br />complete the 2008 Comprehensive Plan update. <br />Adopted this 2th day of September 2008. <br />Rob arty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />James Ericson, City Clerk-Administrator <br /> <br />
