EDA RESOLUTION NO. 04-EDA-197 <br />MOUNDS VIEW ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZATION TO CONDUCT A RESIDENTIAL APPRAISAL ON THE <br />PROPERTY LOCATED AT 8217 LONG LAKE ROAD <br />WHEREAS, the property located at 8217 Long Lake Road is currently for sale and <br />available for acquisition; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Economic Development Authority (the "Authority")and the <br />City Council have directed staff to explore the potential acquisition of the property; and, <br />WHEREAS, staff has confirmed that the property at 8217 Long Lake Road appears on <br />the City's list of parcels identified for potential acquisition; and, <br />WHEREAS, to determine the fair market value for the property, it would be appropriate to <br />conduct a residential appraisal of the parcel and improvements; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City maintains a list of area appraisal firms who are able to perform such <br />an appraisal. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Mounds View Economic Development <br />Authority hereby authorizes staff arrange for an appraisal of the property located at 8217 Long <br />Lake Road. The Authority further directs staff to seek quotes from professional residential <br />appraisers and to award the project to the individual or firm having submitted the lowest bid with <br />the earliest completion date, as time is of the essence.
