RESOLUTION N0.06-EDA-219 <br />MOUNDS VIEW ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPOINTMENT GARY MEEHLAUSE TO THE <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br />WHEREAS, the Economic Development Commission (EDC) consist of <br />members appointed by the Economic Development Authority; and <br />WHEREAS, there is currently one vacant seat on the EDC; and <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 308.03, subdivision 1 of the Mounds View City Code, <br />provides that Commission members shall be appointed by the Authority President <br />with the approval of the Economic Development Authority (EDA); and <br />WHEREAS, Staff has received one application for this appointment, Gary <br />Meehlause; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Meehlause has expressed a strong interest in being <br />appointed to the EDC: and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Meehlause's term on the EDC will expire on December <br />31, 2008. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Economic Development <br />Authority of the City of Mounds View hereby appoints Mr. Gary Meehlause to the <br />EDC for athree-year term expiring on December 31, 2008. <br />Adopted this 22"d day of May, 2006. <br />,~~~~~- <br />Rob Marty, EDA President <br />ATTEST: , <br />~~~ ` <br />Kurt Ulrich, Executive Director <br />(seal) <br />
