RESOLUTION NO. 9176 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING STANTEC TO COMPLETE THE FINAL STREET DESIGN AND <br />PREPARE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND BIDDING DOCUMENTS <br />FOR THE 2020 STREET PROJECT (QUINCY STREET) <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is considering the 2020 Street Project to <br />include Quincy Street from County Road H2 to County Road I; and <br />WHEREAS, Quincy Street from County Road H2 to County Road I is <br />approximately 2,660 feet in length and maintenance has included seal coating, pothole <br />patching and skim coating as needed; and <br />WHEREAS, The City Council approved Stantec to perform engineering services <br />for the street project on July 8, 2019. <br />WHEREAS, Stantec has provided a proposed street design with 12' drive lanes <br />and 8' parking lanes on both sides of the street and installing boulevard behind the curb <br />and expanding the current sidewalk to 6'. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. The City hereby approves Stantec Consulting Services of Minneapolis MN, to <br />complete the street design, plans, specifications and biding documents for the <br />2020 Street Rehabilitation Project for Quincy Street. <br />2. Funding will be from the Street Improvement Fund, 485-4470-7050. <br />3. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute all appropriate documents to effectuate the actions contemplated by <br />this resolution. <br />4. The Mayor and City Administrator, Staff and consultants are hereby authorized <br />and directed to take any and all additional steps and actions necessary or <br />convenient in order to accomplish the intent of this Resolution. <br />Adopted this 14th day of October, 2019 <br />Carol A.
