RESOLUTION NO. 9171 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER FOR THE <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW FOR THE REMAINDER OF 2019 <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota state law requires that City Councils annually designate a <br />legal newspaper of general circulation in the City as its official newspaper; <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View's Official Newspaper for 2019, the Mounds <br />View -New Brighton Bulletin, has informed the City that they are no longer publishing <br />legal notices; <br />WHEREAS, staff received proposals from the Pioneer Press, Star Tribune, Press <br />Publications, and the Blaine -Spring Lake Park -Fridley -New Brighton Life; and <br />WHEREAS, The Press Publications submitted the lowest cost per line for <br />publication of legal notices. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View does hereby approve Press Publications as the City of Mounds View's <br />Official Newspaper for the remainder of 2019. <br />Adopted this 14th day of October, 2019. <br />A' /7 <br />Carol A.
