Mounds View City Council October 14, 2019 <br />Regular Meeting Page 8 <br /> <br />assistance. She reviewed these agencies and the services that could be provided and noted this <br />information would be available at City Hall. <br /> <br />Council Member Gunn reported she attended the Taste of Northeast event and she was pleased to <br />see the large number of people at this event. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause reported he also attended the Taste of Northeast. He noted he <br />would be attending three meetings with NYFS in the coming weeks. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause invited all residents to attend the Mounds View Lions Spaghetti <br />th <br />Dinner on Thursday, October 24 at the Kraus Hartig VFW in Spring Lake Park. <br /> <br />th <br />Mayor Mueller stated the Minnesota Women in City Government met on Friday, October 11. <br />She noted this group was planning a women’s suffrage event for the spring of 2020. <br /> <br />th <br />Mayor Mueller reported an election would occur on Tuesday, November 5 and encouraged all <br />residents to vote. <br /> <br />Mayor Mueller explained the Council attended a ribbon cutting ceremony for The Boulevard <br />apartment building on the corner of Groveland Road and Mounds View Boulevard. She stated <br />over 30 families have moved into the building already and noted the building would be fully rented <br />by the first of November. <br /> <br /> B. Reports of Staff. <br /> <br />City Administrator Zikmund explained he had a conversation with the City of Blaine’s new City <br />Manager Michelle Wolfe. He reported he also had a conversation with the new Ramsey County <br />Administrator where the two discussed access issues concerns along Mounds View Boulevard. <br /> <br />C. Reports of City Attorney. <br /> <br />There was nothing additional to report. <br /> <br />10.
