MOUNDS VIEW CITY COUNCIL Regular (fleeting <br />Page 2 6eptember 8, 1'80 <br />THE PUBLIC HEARING OPENED AT 7:50 P.N. <br />iicial Rose briefly reviewed past Planning Commission <br />comments and actions on this request. Mr. Keith Carlson, <br />President of Brooks Superette, had submitted a request <br />to the Planning Commission at the August 8, 1980, meeting <br />or a> development controls review and a conditional use <br />permit for the property on 2390 Highway 10. At that time, <br />the Planning Commission had asked Mr. Carlson to reconsider <br />his site plan with some specific suggestions from the <br />Commission. Mr. Carlson reviewed the recommendations with <br />his architect and submitted a revised plan to Staff on <br />August 13, 1980 with improvements for the access parking, <br />circulation of vehicles, and the screening along the south <br />property line. The Commission approved the final revised <br />plan received by the City onAugust 18, 1980 with require- <br />ments for exhibits, bonding amount, and moving the fence <br />to the east a distance between 30 -50 feet as specified by <br />Staff totaling 250 feet to the east from that point, at their <br />September 3, 1980 meeting. <br />City Engineer Boxrud briefly reviewed the site plan, noting <br />that he had met with the developer and surveyor, and that <br />the drainage requirements were met for Resolution 983. <br />Keith Carlson (President, Brooks Superette) and Jack <br />h (architect for Brooks Superette) were also present at <br />iepublic hearing. <br />THE PUBLIC HEARING CLOSED AT 8:00 P.N. <br />THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL JEETING RE- OPENED AT 8:00 P.:. <br />MOTION: Ziebarth made amotion, seconded by Hodges, to adopt <br />Resolution 1158 (Approval of D wc1c, ^Ant Agreement Pao. 80 -38) <br />and Development Agreement 80 -39, Exhibit 2Aand toaispeN3c <br />with the readings. <br />Ayes -5 Nays -0 <br />Official Rose noted that the site plan would be amended with <br />the fence requirements as set by the Planning Commission on <br />September 3, 1980. <br />i:jOTION: Rowley made a motion, seconded by Forslund, to <br />approve the licensin; of Scott Builders, <br />in the City of ;-founds View. <br />Ayes -5 hays -0 <br />v PUi1LIC HEARING <br />7. <br />BROOKS SUPERETTE,INC <br />2390 Highway 10 <br />CASE 62 -80 <br />H0r'IOid CARRIES. <br />LICENSING FOR <br />SCOTT BUILDERS <br />O1 CARRIES.
