RESOLUTION 7333 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING LEASE AGREEMENT AMENDMENT NO. 3 WITH VERIZON <br />WIRELESS FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A GENERATOR AT THE WATER <br />TOWER SITE <br />WHEREAS, On September 24, 2007, the Mounds View City Council approved <br />Amendment #2 to the Site Lease Agreement with Verizon Wireless to install a diesel <br />powered generator; and <br />WHEREAS, the generator would be used as emergency power for the existing <br />equipment that Verizon Wireless leases space for at the Water Tower site, located at 2434 <br />Bronson Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, subsequent to the approval of Amendment #2 and installation of the <br />generator, Verizon requested approval to install a gas service line across City property to <br />the generator; and <br />WHEREAS, the request necessitated preparation of Amendment #3 to the approved <br />site lease agreement; and <br />WHEREAS, the lease agreement amendment has been reviewed and approved by <br />the City's legal counsel; and <br />WHEREAS, the lease agreement amendment provides for an additional one-time <br />compensation of $2,000 to cover the costs to prepare and review said amendment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. The City Council approves an amendment to the Verizon Wireless contract for <br />antennas on the water tower. <br />2.
