RESOLUTION NO. 7342 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />Adopting a Reassessment of Previously Assessed Properties for the H2 and 2003 Street <br />and Utility Improvement Projects <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice given as required bylaw, the City Council has met and <br />heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed reassessment of the H2 and 2003 Street and <br />Utility Improvement Projects. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View that: <br />1. Assessments for the H2 and 2003 Street and Utility Projects are active assessments and as <br />a result of changes made to the City's overall Street and Utility Improvement Program are <br />excessive and should be reassessed as adopted in resolution 7217. <br />2. Such proposed reassessment roll, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part <br />hereof, is accepted and shall constitute the reassessment against the lands named therein, <br />and each tract of land therein is hereby found to have benefited by the H2 and 2003 Street <br />and Utility Improvement in the amount of the reassessment levied against it. <br />3. The reassessments as adopted and confirmed shall reduce the previous assessments for <br />the H2 project area (59200301) by 50% of the original amount and the 2003 project area <br />(59200401) by 60% of the original amount. <br />4. City staff is authorized to process refund requests for six months ending on March 13, 2009 <br />and the Street Improvement Capital Projects Fund budget shall be amended to increase <br />account 285-4470-3810 by $120,067. <br />5. The City Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this reassessment to the <br />County and the County is authorized to reduce the outstanding assessments #59200301 <br />and #59200401 to zero and #59200401-1 PID# 07.30.23.21.0020 shall be reduced to <br />$822.75. <br />(ATTES ) <br />Jim Ericson, City Clerk-Administrator <br />(SEAL) <br />Adopted this 13`h Day of October 2008. <br />Rob Marty, Mayor `~° <br />T <br />
